Our school has a Home School Community Liaison teacher, who promotes and encourages partnerships between home, school and community agencies.
The HSCL teacher:

is a friendly face to the parents

welcomes parents to the school

works to build relationships of trust and respect with parents

visits parents in their homes to listen, encourage and support

offers practical advice on how parents can support their children to reach their potential

operates a welcoming parents' room

facilitates courses and classes to empower parents
